A new battery while you wait
Bring your watch to our Boca Raton counter. Battery replacement is usually done while you wait, so you can walk out wearing it. You'll know the price before we start.
Does my watch need a battery?
If your watch has stopped, or the second hand has started jumping in steps of a few seconds at a time, the battery is probably running down. Many quartz watches do that on purpose as a warning.
If your watch has no battery at all, it's mechanical: it runs on a spring, wound by hand or by the movement of your wrist. A mechanical watch that stops needs winding or a service, not a battery. See our watch repair page.
If a new battery doesn't fix it
Sometimes a watch stops for another reason. If a fresh battery doesn't bring it back, we'll look it over with you and tell you what it needs and what it costs before any other work starts.
Don't leave a dead battery in
An old battery left inside a stopped watch can leak, and the leak can damage the movement. If your watch has stopped and you're not ready to wear it, it's still worth having the battery replaced or taken out.
Get a price first
For an idea before you drive over, send photos and a few words about what's wrong through the quote form, or text them to (561) 786-2431. The final price is confirmed once we see the watch.
Bands and links too
While your watch is on the counter, we can also remove or add links, adjust the bracelet or fit a new strap.
While you're here
While we take care of your watch, bring the gold or jewelry you no longer wear and ask what it's worth. Or ask about a pawn loan: cash for smaller loans, check or wire transfer for larger ones, with no credit check, and your piece stays yours until you repay.
