A designer jewelry loan at Barry's
A designer jewelry pawn loan is a loan secured by your piece. You bring it in with a photo ID, we look it over with you at the counter, and you get your loan the same visit: cash for smaller loans, check or wire transfer for larger ones. Your jewelry stays at our Boca Raton store until you repay and pick it up.
There is no credit check, and nothing is reported to credit bureaus.
Getting your jewelry back
When you're ready, repay the loan at the counter and we hand your jewelry back to you. If you need more time, the loan can be extended. Talk to us before the loan expires.
What we look at
For a signed piece we look at the maker's signature and any serial number, the metal, the condition, and the details that are particular to that design. Authenticity is checked right in front of you.
If you have the box, pouch, certificate or receipt, bring it along. It helps confirm the piece.
How much can I borrow on my jewelry?
It depends on the maker, the piece, its metal and condition, and the current market, so we don't quote numbers online. We'll make you an offer the same visit. For an idea first, send photos through the quote form or text them to (561) 786-2431, including a close-up of the signature.
Pawn your jewelry or sell it?
We can usually offer more to buy a piece than to lend on it, because you're selling it outright. A pawn loan lets you keep a piece you want to wear again and pick it up when you repay. Ask for both numbers at the counter and decide what suits you.
